Sr Team Leader Planning

Position overview
Developing and implementing a E2E production process based on ERP for efficient flow of material and information.


Tasks & Responsibilities

Essential duties:

The individual leads the Planning team with the following accountabilities:

  • Definition and execution of team strategy in alignment with departmental & site strategy and stakeholders
  • Monitoring and improving team performance
  • Line management of employees, creating an open, supportive and healthy working environment which fosters personal development, and which allows a sustainable work/life balance.
  • Coordinating and maintaining the production process in an ERP system for leading vaccine development programs, including Process orders, BoMs, detailed recipes and all the inhouse material flow, regarding transparency and accuracy for multiple products.
  • Optimizing relevant ERP Master Data in accordance with local/global Master Data Strategy
  • Key role in SAP material creation, in terms of setting up supply strategies and MRP settings.
  • Interacting and collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and maintain the master site production plan in line with customer requirements.
  • Analyzes product demand, forecasts. production specifications and plant capacity data.
  • Monitors planning modules or production planning system with current lead times, and related information.
  • Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers and plant production departments and monitors orders from start to finish to ensure the ontime delivery of products.
  • Reviews capacity loads and identifies possible manufacturing constraints.
  • Monitors and anticipates production issues due to capacity and new product launches.
  • Prepares reports related to production scheduling and material disposal.
  • Participates in new product launch meetings and assist in developing new product forecasts and production schedules.

Qualifications:


Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:


  • Good experiences in people management
  • Extensive knowledge in SAP PP, MM, SD modules
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry and GMP environment
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is desired. Advanced Degree and Supply Chain Certification e.g. APICS is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant ERP (SAP) Production Planning experience (Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) is required.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills in English and preferably in German too
