  • We're looking for an Initiative Manager in Markets Regulations to:
  • manage aspects of large scale, highly complex regulatory initiatives, which includes planning, execution, timing, quality, client satisfaction, and early identification of potential issues
- identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests, and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement
- coordinate the tasks of the initiative among different divisions, streams, crews of different streams, and vendors; coordinate with external parties and regulators where required
- help resolve conflicts and dependencies across streams, crews and pods, align with stream/crew leads and facilitate reprioritization efforts
- perform risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management, and maintain and monitor a risk management plan
- design the initiative's Objectives and Key Results (OKRS) and give transparency to internal stakeholders so that suitable priorities can be made
- be able to understand the detail of the regulatory requirements and how they will be implemented in our system landscape; take away any blockers for the pods that will be delivering the change
- ensure that the next quarter's OKRs are included in the QBRs (Division) so that the initiatives are fully transparent and suitable priorities can be made

Your team

  • You'll be working in the Initiative Centre or Excellence in the CDIO IB Markets Regulations team in Switzerland focusing on regulatory change both locally in Switzerland as well as globally. We are a dynamic team that is responsible for front to back implementation of regulatory deliveries across multiple continents. As such, we collaborate globally across Streams and with functions in various Business areas such as Investment Products & Services, Operations and Legal & Compliance. We work in a cross divisional manner with stakeholders in Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Finance, Risk, etc.

Your expertise
- ideally at least 5 years initiative management experience
- good understanding of operational processes, preferably within the financial services industry
- team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
- experience in delivering regulatory change is helpful
- knowledge of trade flows and financial products such as FX, Equity Derivatives or Exchange Traded Derivatives is helpful
