We are looking to further strengthen one of our core areas - Strategy in Deals - to help clients at every step of their mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and divestment transactions.

Your contribution to KPMG
Managing and supporting M&A-related strategy projects end-to-end


Separation advisory:
End-to-end vendor assistance from strategy setting, pre-signing due diligence, to post-closing separation support


Integration advisory:
Advise along the entire integration journey from buy-side due diligence assistance to Day 1/ 100 integration execution support
Manage complex data models and analyze underlying data of M&A-related strategic projects
Manage junior consultants on a project and motivate the team to strive for its best performance
Advising clients persuasively and earning the position of a trusted advisor, as the primary KPMG interface to client individuals up to and including C-Suite level
Providing high-quality deliverables, respecting deadlines and monitoring budget costs while executing projects
Contributing to our commercial success by responding to client requests for proposals (preparing and pitching with a high level of independence)
This is what makes you successful
Master's degree from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record; Preferred disciplines are business, finance, natural sciences, economics, IT, or industrial engineering
4-5 years professional experience in business development, strategy consulting or M&A with evidence of high performance and extraordinary professional achievements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, being able to manage operational, financial, accounting, and strategic topics
Sector experience in chemical, consumer goods or diversified industrials is preferred
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
Collaborative approach and team player with an ability to lead teams in a high-pressure environment
Proficient command of English (C2 level), additional languages are an advantage (especially German, French, Italian)
