The main task of the Strategic Product Management is to define the strategic portfolio within a 3-to-5-year horizon, defining where and how to place our products and services.

What you can accomplish:

You create a compelling portfolio vision and ensure the integration of the overall Bystronic roadmaps for systems, solutions & service
Furthermore you develop a thorough understanding of customer unserved needs and pain points, the Bystronic market positioning & potential and transform the findings into next strategic moves
For the alignment and communication of the product strategy you interact with several stakeholders and prepare strategic decision proposals incl. business cases
Identify and develop new business opportunities beyond existing portfolio in line with the Bystronic strategy

What you should bring:

You have a keen interest in Product Portfolio and related activities and bring relevant experience in an international environment, ideally in the machinery industry.
You have either a technical background in mechanical, electrical or comparable and bring further training or a good understanding of business contexts or
Or you bring a profound background in product management and marketing (marketing not advertising )
Business fluent language skills in English and good user skills in MS Office complete your profile
