Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Entrepreneur-in-Residences (M/F/d) who would like to participate in the identification and subsequent management of portfolio companies in cooperation with CONSTELLATION.

Starting your role as "Entrepreneur-in-Residence" of a platform company, you will accompany the CONSTELLATION team for up to 100 days in the target search.

In this context, you will be significantly involved in the identification and selection of a suitable target.

At the same time, you will be responsible for developing a value-added concept (100-day plan + buy-&-build roadmap) with the existing management.

In order to guarantee the optimal utilisation of your expertise, CONSTELLATION will assign an analyst to your side within the framework of the process described above.

Likewise, you can always seek input from our experienced managing partners.

In the course of a successful transaction, you will join the decision-making body of the platform holding company. There you will implement your strategy directly with the existing management team.


Responsibilities:

• Development of a sectorspecific strategy in cooperation with the CONSTELLATION investment team.
• Active support with regard to the identification and selection of platform companies in the respective sector
• Creation of an integration strategy (100day plan + buy&build roadmap) with the existing management team
• Additional management/leadership responsibilities in case of a subsequent assignment to the management board of the portfolio company

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Entrepreneur in Residence, or similar.
• Experience in the conceptualisation and implementation of growth strategies
• Fundamental understanding of corporate finance and quantitative decision making
• Experience in dealing with all key business functions (finance, marketing, PR, etc.)
• Indepth knowledge of governance and management best practices
• Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding degree/MBA from a reputable university
• Business fluent in German and English

In the event of a successful transaction with subsequent deployment in the management body of the respective portfolio company, you will receive the opportunity of a direct participation (management buy-in).
