    Your Mission

    • Operate and maintain complex IT systems considering all system components and applications of simulators with different operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
    • Plan, evaluate, modify, and integrate new software and IT tools.
    • Analyze, plan, and implement short, medium, and long-term strategies to ensure the availability of the flight simulator IT systems.
    • Continuously analyze and assess IT risks.
    • Support the Air Force in defining security measures and developing necessary instructions and regulations.
    • Manage simulator systems of the Air Force.
    • Administer all sub-systems of the simulators.
    • Implement software changes and extensions.
    • Design and implement software quality tests.
    • Lead release management, data, and configuration management, as well as prepare necessary documentation for annual JAR/EASA requalification.
    • Track industry trends, including obsolescence planning.
    • Evaluate, test, and integrate new IT tools (COTS, replacement components).
    • Create and modify image databases, 3D models, and tactical scenarios.
    • Develop the IT System Maintenance Plan.
    • Train personnel in the IT field.

    What we Look Forward to

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or similar education (major in Electrical Engineering / Information Technology).
    • Knowledge in modeling image databases is advantageous. Familiarity with avionics and radio navigation basics.
    • Private pilot license is a plus. Several years of experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
    • Professional and methodological competence.
    • Ability to assess complex IT issues from various perspectives comprehensively, prioritize, and develop and pursue graded solution approaches.
    • In-depth knowledge of network and computer system functionalities/strengths/weaknesses and expected technological advances.
    • Extensive experience in managing commercial software development and system integration projects.
    • Long-standing experience in system administration on various platforms (Unix, Windows, Linux, embedded systems).
    • Confidently interact with domestic and foreign customers.
    • Flexible, quality-conscious, and highly reliable.
    • Knowledge of a second official language is beneficial.
