Our Sheet Metal Shop is part of the Production Organization next to the Cabinet, Electro, Upholstery, Finishing and Composite Shops.

The shop is split into the following groups, Production Line, Machine Shop, Complex Assembly & Water System, and Kitting Team.

To reinforce our Shop structure, performance, and capability we are looking for a new partially hands-on Supervisor.

This position is responsible for overseeing the execution of workshop projects to achieve budget, safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets

Description/Tasks:
Functional Supervisor of Team Leads, Technicians and Certifying Workshop Technicians
Able to lead a team up to 10 people
Assigns and verifies tasks upon completion. Ensures compliance to standard Jet Basel procedures, and practices to achieve our JBSL quality standards requirements
Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to ensure efficient and effective project execution
Ensures the jobs are performed on the project in accordance with the relevant documentation: Tier 4, Project Work Break Down structure and Earned Value
Excellent technical knowledge
Liaises with the internal stakeholders such as PPM on escalation items / modifications and product development & prototyping.
In charge of the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area
Ensures the team follows environmental and safety regulations
Efficiently evaluates time and tasks.
Cascade Company and Department communication downstream and feedback and or issues upstream
Frequent, flexible discussions with employees concerning Contribution, Engagement & Development
Arrange team events
Reward & recognition for the team members
Perform the EPA assessment & dialogue for his/her team
Qualification/Experience:
Meets requirements for Workshop Team Leader (internal Level I or II)
Demonstrated Leadership and conflict management skills.
Demonstrated budget and schedule experience and knowledge
Demonstrated project management knowledge and experience (incl. cost and time control) and release authorization.
Demonstrated problem solving and influencing skills
Understanding of budgets and KPIs
Advanced knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance documentations
Familiar with aviation authorities (FOCA, EASA, FAA,..) procedures and processes
Strong influencing skills
Strong communication & coaching skills
Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
Team player and selfmotivated
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to learn, interested to grow in the job
Proactive and forward thinking
PC literate with MS packages Experience in using SAP ERP or equivalent
Good level of English (B2 preferred). Must be able to read and understand Engineering data and maintenance tasks in English manuals
Able to speak and write multiple languages: English (mandatory); French or German would be an advantage
