Medical Scientific Liaison & Expert - Oncology:
**Hybrid working

  • 80% fieldbased and 20% office (Münchenbuchsee, Baar or homeoffice)**:
As Medical Scientific Liaison and Expert, you will provide expertise within the hematological oncology therapeutic area.

You will develop and deliver clear and balanced communication based on medical, scientific and ethical matters to support GSK Switzerland, enabling the evidence based used of GSK medicines.


Responsibilities:


  • Be the scientific expert within the therapeutic area of hematological oncology by regular reviewing literature, congress participation, discussion with external experts and meeting with MSL
  • Understand the impact of new data on the value/positioning of products in guidelines/ formularies
  • Bring valuable insights to ensure most impactful medical plan
  • Define activities based on insights
  • Execution of the medical operational plan working closely with Hematology Medical Lead and cross functional brand teams
  • Keep a close relationship and build partnerships with key patient organizations and advocacy groups as well as with scientific societies in multiple myeloma
  • Plan and execute trainings for sales force team and medical team as agreed with need of the cross functional and medical teams
  • Be the "eyes and ears" of professional community for GSK and share with relevant colleagues
  • Identify, consolidate, and communicate key insights and subsequently contribute to the translation of these insights into executable and innovative Medical Affairs strategies
  • Respond compliantly to unsolicited information request from healthcare professionals (HCPs) regarding GSK products. Work to requirements regarding compliance towards GSK SOPs, guidelines, and laws in Switzerland

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Pharmacist, PharmD, MSc/PhD or MD
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry with focus on oncology
  • Understanding of clinical research
  • Experience in evaluating and effectively communicating evidencebased medicine
  • Experience in leading projects and interacting with crossfunctional teams
  • Fluent in English and German, speaking and writing

Preferred:


  • Experience in Hematology
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent skills in presenting scientific data
