About the Team
The Swiss Re Institute for Executive Education team develops programmes, courses and eLearning for clients, corporates, brokers, and governments.

You will join a professional and highly motivated team in in Zürich and Bratislava that understands how insurance and risk education increases performance of Swiss Re clients.


About the Role


Executive Education is run on "primus inter pares" concept (PIP) with three Chapters: Sales & Marketing, Program Design & Management, Production & Digital Enabling.

The Chapter-concept is introduced to establish overall responsibility for each team as "agile framework" where the leader can be seen in the role of the agile mentor.

You will report to the Head Swiss Re Institute for Executive Education.


Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Targeted Prospecting: Leverage your established network within client management and clients in Learning & Development, HR, and key insurance functions (underwriting, claims management, etc.) to identify potential buyers in the insurance and corporates risk management sector.
  • CRM and

Sales Lifecycle:
Support in building and managing a systematic CRM and sales lifecycle approach to sell risk and insurance education in the global insurance market

  • Nominations and Invitations: Handle the client programme nomination and invitation process for clients in close collaboration with the client management teams.
  • Sales Presentation and Marketing: Create tailored presentations, marketing materials and social media campaigns that highlight the outstanding value and benefits of our programmes. Customize these resources to align with the specific needs of each prospective client. Hold marketing and sales meetings and presentations. Support the design, content development, and management of the website as deputy.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with key decisionmakers within target organizations and internal sales units. Understand and anticipate the evolving strategies and needs of these partners to ensure our offerings remain relevant.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Engage potential clients to close contract terms and prices. Utilize your persuasive skills and industry knowledge to demonstrate the value of our training programmes, securing sales deals according to annual performance objectives
  • Teamwork: Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product design & management, and client's success to offer the best solutions for clients and improve the overall customer journey.
Key Performance Measures

Providing value-adding services for clients, measured by:

  • Market-equivalent value of programs provided to clients
  • Revenue of programs
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) of our participants

About You

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales, ideally B2B
  • Broad knowledge of the insurance industry and risk management practices. Experience in crafting and driving successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Network and relationships with Learning & Development, HR, and key insurance functions.
  • Strong persuasion skills with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to set priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite, or similar software.
