Research Associate (M/F/d) (LSB) for Glycart:

The Molecular Technologies group is looking for a research associate who will support the team in operating and optimizing an automated workflow to generate linear DNA fragments and/or plasmids for high-throughput antibody production.

You will have the possibility to escort projects from DNA generation, via production to micro purification. You will join a multinational team of highly motivated associates and scientists.

Task and Responsibilites

Ordering and registration of DNA and proteins
Generation of long linear DNA fragments and/or plasmids
Sequence analysis and data handling
Maintaining, transfecting, cultivating and harvesting mammalian cells
Purifying antibodies
Operating and maintaining automated workflows
Troubleshooting and optimization of existing workflows
Regular presentation of the current status and results

You must have these qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent experience in biology or a related field (**)
Strong handson experience in stateoftheart cloning techniques (**)
Experience in mammalian cell culture and transfection (**)
1+ years' experience in a laboratory setting with a focus on molecular biology (**)
Experience in protein purification (**)
EDV experience and technical flair (G-Suite or MS Office) (**)
Proactive personality and drive to optimize workflows
Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English is a must
