Forecasting & Capacity Planner

We are looking for a strategic and highly analytical Forecasting & Capacity Planner to join our Capacity & Revenue Management function.

As the first hire into this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the long-term strategy for capacity planning, forecasting, and inventory management across EF Educational Tours.

You will be a key member of the team working closely with various departments and stakeholders to understand opportunities, limitations and to create action plans based on latest capacity trends and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain continuous forecasting perspective on a global scale to predict demand trends and flag challenges that will impact our final inventory consumption
Build a collaborative relationship with key stakeholders to understand their growth capabilities, cost impact of different capacity levels, and recommend actions based on capacity opportunities or limitations
Drive and own the process of capacity constraint capture and cost/quality implications, on a global level
Establish and monitor performance metrics and conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide insights for decisionmaking
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, improve demand planning processes, and streamline inventory management

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in forecasting, capacity planning or analytics, preferably within the travel industry
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a proven track record
Ability to derive insights and detect trends & patterns from complex data sets
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
Selfstarter mindset with the ability to create solutions from scratch
