Arxada is looking for a Lab Assistant based in Visp, Switzerland.

Key responsibilities:

Planning and carrying out chemical experiments in collaboration with chemists and engineers in the area of process development and scaleup.
Collection and processing of process data on laboratory scale litres)
Supporting process transfers and scaleups to our multipurpose facilities
Analysis and characterisation of chemical products
Independent and problemsolving work within the framework of projects
Maintenance and further development of the laboratory equipment park as well as the supervision of laboratory automation equipment
Supervision and training of new team members (laboratory technician apprentices)

Key requirements:

High ambition to strengthen the safety culture
University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc. Organic Chemistry) or laboratory assistant training EFZ/CTA or comparable training
Broad experience in the field of laboratory synthesis as well as in the handling of production processes is required
Proactive working style and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
Very good knowledge of German or English is required
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an affinity for computeraided laboratory equipment
