YOUR CHALLENGE:


  • As part of a small deal team, working with various more senior team members, support origination, structuring and execution of complex lending transactions
  • Develop strong understanding of market fundamentals and perform indepth credit risk assessment, including company analysis (sector, as well as balance sheet and cashflow analysis)
  • Support the credit approval process, including preparation of detailed credit requests for relevant internal approval authorities
  • Interact with clients and relevant external and internal stakeholders
  • Assist in preparation and negotiation of term sheets, as well as legal documentation in collaboration with internal legal team and external legal counsels
  • Daily monitoring of the existing loan portfolio and performance of periodic exposure reviews

YOUR PROFILE:


  • Strong academic background, preferably Master degree in Business, Finance or Economics
  • Clear interest in Corporate Finance, with previous internship or fulltime experience in a relevant role
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with ability to perform thorough sector and company fundamental analysis, including balance sheet and cashflow assessment. Ability to build company financial models is a plus.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Ability to cope with tight deadlines and work under time pressure
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluency in English and (ideally) in German, with an additional language being a plus
