Job Description:


Purpose:


  • Network design, planning and buying services for finished vehicle logistics in Europe
  • Geographical coverage across Europe, EU region, Switzerland, UK region and new markets planned as of 2023.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordination with GMI / Global Logistics teams
  • Support new projects with required Logistics solutions
  • Participate in Project meetings, representing Logistics function.
  • Network design for European markets in scope
  • Prepare sourcing plan and coordination with Purchasing team
  • Perform budget calculations and tracking
  • Develop savings initiatives
  • Proceed with required approvals
  • Support logistics cost estimates for new programs
  • Create and maintain Logistics contract database
  • Monitor supplier KPI's
  • Visit suppliers, be up to date on logistics market status
  • Participate in negotiation meetings
  • Manage Spot buys
  • Monitor cost per unit, manage fuel adjustments
  • Monitor volume developments (Forecast/Ordering/Production)
  • Support new supplier onboarding and operations implementation
  • Ensure required IT communications are in place with Logistics service providers
  • Bringing ideas to continuously refine and improve the core business

Additional Job Description:


Experience/Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering or equivalent
