Job Summary


Reporting to the Executive Director of Global Supply Chain Business Enablement, and partnered with GSC, GPS functions, GPS enterprise digital, IT, and Data Management teams, the Data Integration and Strategy Director for GSC leads and collaborates on developing and implementing strategies that drive successful data integration that originate from new acquisitions and network change.

The position is a key integration role across GSC and beyond to ensure coordination and delivery of SAP projects from a data perspective for core BMS business processes that have an impact to SAP


Responsibilities

  • Development of the Data Integration strategy aligned with GPS digital/capability roadmap
  • Lead multiple data integration and innovation projects, key point of contact for data integration, acquisition, and innovation projects
  • New project assessment support: resource estimation, scheduling, tracking, testing and delivery
  • Lead the strategy and execution of digital/data systems driven by BMS supply chain integrations
  • Lead and execute data integration program/projects across GSC and GPS
  • Manages direct reports in delivery of integration and new programs requiring data management
  • Ensure delivery of new integration from a data perspective
  • Ensure delivery of new capabilities from a data perspective
  • Manage budget, resources for data integration projects and portfolio for new capabilities
  • Responsible for establishing new data processes for Supply Chain and Manufacturing organization (Manufacturing sites, Market, DC, External Manufacturing)
  • Collaboration with IT, business development, crossfunctional organizations to ensure alignment on data integration approach
  • Assess the impact and propose existing or new solutions for data integration into systems and processes
  • Established and maintain data integration SOPs to assure a standard is in place and followed globally during integrations
  • Collaborate and advise data operations and data governance teams to implement data process improvements and systems changes to drive efficiency and business value
  • Communicate with other peer and industry professionals to develop and share best practices and ensure standardization across geographic regions
  • Key partner who collaborates with GPS data and digital governance organizations for data transformation roadmap and strategy driving new data capabilities
  • Optimize data integration strategies for global supply chain
  • Plan, design, implement, and maintain current data integration processes (structured)
  • Identifies risks, dependencies, problems, challenges and complexities with the deployment of new technology
  • Member of appropriate master data process and governance councils

Experiences/ Qualification:


  • Minimum 15 years pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry experience
  • Minimum 10 years in data management
  • Working experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing operations
  • In depth knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical market, supply chain and operations environment
  • Highly Project Management experience with very large, enterprise programs Extensive business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and implement strategy in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership with cross functional teams resulting in integrated business plan development, implementation and culture change
  • Deep relationship management and innovation skills.
  • Sound working knowledge of IT Systems, specifically SAP
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other graduate experience preferred in supply chain is a plus
  • Executive level written, oral and platform communication skills
  • Ability to plan and control projects geographically dispersed in a matrix organization
  • Ability to manage cross functional team(s) in a matrix organization
  • Experience working within a global and culturally diverse organization.
