Your assignments

  • To take responsibility for defining and implementing activities to deliver and maximise commercial efficacy and sales excellence, to include, but not limited:
  • To develop and define strategy for commercial excellence and sales operations for Biosimilars in EU&ROW.
  • To define customer engagement framework for Biosimilars business and ensure capability building to support growing Biosimilar portfolio.
  • Lead GTM strategy definition and guide segmentation and targeting across markets.
  • To define, implement and harmonize sales excellence dashboards across EU and RoW.
  • To define, implement and harmonize standard operating procedures related to CRM data collection, definition and monitoring across EU and RoW.
  • To create solutions to maximize sales, support maintenance for the systems in place, and integrate new services, in particular to enhance the automation and visibility of sales excellence data.
  • To define, document and continuously improve sales excellence process
standards and competency across EU & RoW.

  • To ensure endtoend process flows and data inputs are surfaced to enable optimal performance; challenging the current state to identify opportunities for process efficiencies.
  • To support project delivery whilst ensuring that changes to processes within EU & RoW sales operations are consistently documented and successfully
embedded.

  • To own adoption of sales process and tools and associated metrics and KPI's.
  • To measure and report on country performance against sales excellence
targets, identify deviations and follow up to support the implementation of corrective actions.

  • To support Country Cluster Leads to implement country specific strategies,
determine areas for improvement and support the development of tools to improve sales productivity.

  • To support EU and RoW country teams in achieving results in line with
strategic sales and profit targets.

  • To ensure Country Cluster Leads have set targets that correspond with
agreed strategies.

  • To establish appropriate incentive schemes for commercial teams, which
includes benchmarking versus external organisations and auditing of country
schemes versus performance.

  • Create and foster an environment that seeks out and maximises new
business opportunities for sales growth and margin maximisation within
defined markets.

  • Support and direct the Country Cluster Leads to ensure they are operating to a high standard and are aligned to the companies' targets.
  • To expand and utilise the organisations' resources in an optimal manner to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Support implementation of digitalization and omnichannel initiatives for the Region.
  • Control of costs to meet plans as agreed with the Vice President.

Profile:


  • University degree in science and or business, MBA
  • Min 10 years commercialization/marketing experience (must include country level national sales management in healthcare/ pharmaceutical sales)
  • Experience in multicountry sales excellence management
  • Subject matter expert and indepth knowledge in sales excellence (tools & techniques)
  • Highly confident in managing sales data proficient in data analysis & sales monitoring tools
  • Biosimilar experience a plus
  • Leadership skills including the ability to lead crossfunctionally and crossgeography
  • Strong understanding of customer needs with global view
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to deal with complexity and translate insights and conceptual ideas into strategies
  • Goal driven mindset with clear metric driven process map
  • Always seeking new approaches to internal and external challenges
  • Fluency in english; german and/or french would be beneficial
  • Regular business travel will be required (circa 50% of time, planned travel)
