Active, nature loving Nanny - Chur, Schweiz - Lampentasche GmbH

Lampentasche is a specialized nanny agency in Switzerland. For our client, we are looking for a professional nanny for their 2 kids aged 0.5 and 2 years. It is an amazing role based in the beautiful village of Malix in the middle of nature, close to Lenzerheide and Chur. The parents are both entrepreneurs with their own company and an incredibly positive mindset. The starting date is ideally from June 2024 onwards.

Tasks

• Taking care of the kids on 2 full days (all days except Friday are possible) or 3 half days (mornings or afternoons) and occasionally on one evening per week
• The tasks vary a bit but will include maintaining a daily routine, dressing the kids and getting them ready for the day, eating meals together with the kids, accompanying the older kid to daycare, going on a walk with the younger sibling, playing indoor and organising outdoor activities
• The kids love to discover nature, play in the garden/outside, enjoy being active, like books, cooking in the play kitchen, doing handicrafts, playing fun games, being involved in cooking/baking, listening to stories and going for a swim
• Excursions and special activities are always welcome (playground, swimming pool, etc.)
• Preparing meals included in the day for the kids
• Tidy up together with the children in the evening and generally keep the living environment tidy
• Ideally, the nanny would accompany the family on trips for 1-2 weeks/year, but this is not a must

Requirements

• Highly professional, reliable, passionate, and empathic personality with a lovely manner who likes to be part of the family
• Ideally, a sporty person who will also enjoy the mountains and nature (skiing, ice-skating, cycling, swimming, etc.)
• Uncomplicated and flexible personality
• Initiative and enjoy contributing ideas for the activities of the day
• Experience with kids in the age group 0.5 years (plus) either as a nanny, in the daycare environment, as a mom with grown-up children, or several years of experience in looking after children in the field of sports as a ski instructor or similar
• Valid driving license would be a plus, otherwise it is a 12-minute bus ride from Chur
• Fluent English skills (ideally native or almost native)

You will work in one of the most beautiful areas of Switzerland. There is no better place to combine work and sports. In winter, for example, you could work in the morning and go skiing in the afternoon (or vice versa). I am looking forward to receiving your full application (CV and reference letters).
