In this role, you will be responsible to establish and maintain good practices and guidelines in commercial aspects of the service network as well as supporting and reviewing customer agreements with a certain complexity.

You will be part of the Service Business Controlling and Commercial Management team, reporting to the Global Product Group Controller & Commercial Manager.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide professional support to our Global Service organization by reviewing all financial, commercial, and taxrelated aspects and assisting with the process of drawing up contractual agreements.
  • Advising on Accelleron's contractual entitlements to protect cash flow, margins, and prevention of disputes.
  • Proactive and critical review and commenting on commercial terms and conditions.
  • In the tender phase, identify major risks, raise bid clarifications, and contract amendments accordingly as well as enforce finance/business directives.
  • Owner of the global risk review process in Service ensuring that related processes are defined, communicated, and adhered to as well as legal contract templates are up to date.
  • Plan and conduct regular Risk Review training and maintain respective material.
  • Maintain and develop further the Full Cost Model for agreements.
  • Owner of the global contract review process contributing to the implementation and further development of a fitforpurpose contract management process within global ERP (S4H).
  • Participate in relevant quarterly contract reviews to ensure high data quality and prevent incorrect revenue recognition.
  • Provide training to Global Product Group sales staff on contract management and promote commercial awareness in the whole organization.
  • Consult local units in Trade Finance possibilities and coordinate among involved parties.
  • Coordinate trade compliance and export control topics with the division trade compliance officer.
  • To analyze margins of contracts vs standard transactional business and vs budget/forecast while ensuring high quality of reporting.
  • Participate in division projects as a coach or review member, depending on the project structure.
Your background

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Economics (or similar).
  • 7+ years of work experience in commercial management, project controlling (various mediumsized projects managed in parallel), or similar functions.
  • Sound knowledge in contractual and legal matters related to customer contracts.
  • Experienced to collaborate and succeed in an international environment with people from many different countries and cultures.
  • Service/delivery oriented and with a strong business mindset.
  • SAP 4 Hana experience is highly welcome.
  • Fluent in English, and German language skills would be an asset.
