The Operations function, thanks to its global scale and work towards innovation, is playing a meaningful role in PMI's business transformation.

Specifically for our Supply Chain team within Lausanne, Switzerland, we are looking for a Manager Synchronization Hub Compliance & Controls, to safeguard the company's business objectives for the Synchronization Hub (SH), monitoring SH deliveries against strategic opportunities, and building resilience across different SH streams against emerging uncertainties.


Key tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Cross functional role within Sync Hub and beyond, with regular interactions with senior partners for communication, risk awareness and compliance alerts.
  • Defines, leads and monitors the risk management framework in close collaboration with internal controls.
  • Lead document control, auditing and retention for the SH
  • Lead any internal or external audit on behalf of the SH, acting as first point of contact for auditing teams and ensuring documents are in place to support auditing process.
  • Lead the Risk Management process in Sync Hub to ensure that accurate mitigating controls are in place and followed up by the business owners, first point of contact for R&C team
  • Implement and lead structure, document control, revision process for SH process standards.
  • Lead external service provider's compliance & performance delivery stream, in collaboration with relevant internal partners.

We are looking for someone with:

  • University degree (MSc) level education (e.g., Economics, Informatics, Supply Chain or equivalent.)


Optional - 'post university' professional certification / education - examples: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Governance Risk Compliance Professional (GRCP) Certification, etc.


Other skills / experience specifics:

  • Supply Chain Planning & systems
  • Digitization, agile (SCRUM) transformation projects & Product Management
  • Experience in deploying and improviing standards and business processes
  • Experience in Master Data Management
- 'Big Four' and/or other public accounting / audit / consulting

  • Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), manufacturing operations, logistics, supply/demand planning, etc.

Other Skills:

  • Solid project management experience
  • Analytical and storytelling capabilities
  • Experience in Customer or Supplier Relationship Management
  • Good Communication skills
  • Team spirit
  • Problem solving
