Student Assistant - ETH AI Center, Industry Collaborations:

40%-100%, Zurich, fixed-term:

As ETH's central hub for artificial intelligence, the ETH AI Center ) fosters research excellence, industry innovation, and Al entrepreneurship to promote trustworthy, accessible, and inclusive Al systems for the benefit of society.

Project background:

We are looking for passionate and engaging students to support the ETH Al Center team in their event organization, communication, community outreach and engagement to shape the future of Al in an interdisciplinary setting from research to industry & start-ups.

Job description:

Start date:

As soon as possible

Type of contract:

Minimum duration: 6 months
During semester: 15h/week
During semester break: up to 41h/week

Your role:

Supporting the team in onboarding new industry members
Organising workshops for industry members, working across digital and social channels to drive awareness and engagement and maximising attendance for such events
Coorganising the AI+X Summit, our flagship event, with over 2000 participants

- inviting industry members to participate
- communicating with workshop hosts
- aligning on the AI+X Summit program with Event Manager
- curating workshop topics
- setting up payment processing
- collaborating with ETH Entrepreneur Club

Collaborate with leading researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry players

Your profile:

Student at a Swiss university
Excellent communication skills in English, interest towards artificial intelligence, outgoing personality are preferred
The position is not strictly related with the technical aspects of AI but is rather leaning towards utilizing soft skills, such as networking, to better engage with the AI community
