Logistics Agent

In this position you are providing a first-class service to our internal customers and manage all related physical material aspects as well as flows from point to point inside the facilities.

Your area of responsibility:

Transport merchandise using a forklift truck or other material handling equipment to designated locations within the warehouse, which includes loading, unloading and order picking
Support storage and internal transport activities
Assist with the operational Kanban concept
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Support and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders with a positive, continuous improvement mindset and problemsolving approach to optimize overall logistics activities
Ensure that all activities are performed with high quality and and according to the requirements incoming inspection, material preparation, dispatching, packing/unpacking, loading/unloading, shipping of goods as well as cycle counting
Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally

What we would like to see:

Technical degree as Logistic Agent or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience
Versatile in all logistics activities (Incoming/Shipping/Warehousing/Preparation/Internal Transport)
In depth understanding of the aerospace industry and the regulatory framework
Aviation material and storage expertise in accordance with current regulations and requirements in the area of physical logistics of a large company (technical equipment, work organization, dangerous goods handling, packaging, regulations in the aviation environment)
Knowledge of all material authority documents that need to be checked for correctness and validity
Forklift license and ADR is an advantage
Good IT knowledge (SAP R/3, MS-Office etc.)
Fluent in English (written and oral), knowledge of German and French is preferred
High levels of working capacity, reliability, work organization and logic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of flexibility and proactivity
Open minded and handson personality, eager to learn new things
