Expected start date in position:
December 2023, or upon agreed time.
Contract length: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years

Activity rate: 100 %

Workplace:
University of Lausanne, Campus of Dorigny

Your responsibilities:

50% minimum dedicated to conducting research towards a Ph.

You will also be involved in teaching and administrative tasks. In teaching, you will prepare and supervise exercises and handson sessions for bachelor and master's courses, and you will supervise student projects.

Your qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering. Proven knowledge of machine learning and data science. Previous industrial experience is of advantage.
Experience in programming and software development (Python, Pytorch, etc). Prototyping abilities for the web.
Willingness to do research in recent advances of Machine Learning.
Good analytical and math skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Existing publications in a conference or journal are a plus.
Fluency in English. Good knowledge of French is preferred but not required.
