Barrington James has partnered with a leading healthcare consultancy firm that specializes in providing strategic and operational support to Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies to successfully prepare, launch and commercialize their products.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Freelance Strategic Market Access Consultant to join our team on a project-by-project basis.
In this role, you will work closely with our clients to develop and implement strategic market access plans for their products.
You will be responsible for providing expert guidance on regulatory and reimbursement requirements, and ensuring that our clients are well-positioned to achieve commercial success in a complex and evolving global healthcare market.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on regulatory and reimbursement requirements in different markets
- Develop and implement strategic market access plans for our clients
- Advise clients on pricing and reimbursement strategies, health technology assessments (HTAs), and other market access barriers
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including clinical, commercial, and regulatory, to ensure alignment of market access strategies with broader business objectives
- Stay abreast of relevant regulations, policies, and trends in global market access
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, business)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare consulting, with a focus on general strategy or market access
- Strong understanding of regulatory and reimbursement requirements across different geographies
- Experience developing and implementing market access strategies for pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device products
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
