Your Role and Responsibilities

Provide services with a prime focus on system stability and high availability and with a secondary focus on architecture and campus design.
Visit your assigned clients on site regularly to perform relevant preagreed tasks, and update and maintain their understanding and knowledge of the clientspecific requirements and environment.
Assist your clients during critical processing phases such as migrations, deployments, reorganisations.
Support your clients in performing analysis, health checks, and other aspects of their main operating tasks.
Provide technical consultancy support to large client projects.
Enable communication to IBM Mainframe Software teams and IBM Labs.
Advise clients on potential continual service improvement actions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Expert knowledge of IBM Mainframe and z/OS.
Knowledge in at least two of the following technologies: DB2, CICS, Websphere, GDPS, performance tuning and hardware configuration management.
High level of service orientation and consultancy mindset; the role requires building a strong network with your client on technical expert and management level.
Fluent German and / or English language skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Working experience in a Mainframe technical expert or consultancy role.
Experience to work in a global virtual team.
ITIL foundation certification.
