Description

Integrated into the Internet of Things (IoT) Supply Chain department, the Quality Manager will take full ownership of the overall quality strategy, roadmap, and execution covering various verticals of the company IoT.

This role will closely work with R&D, operations, product teams, contract manufacturers & suppliers in all aspects related to quality management (quality assurance, quality control, field issues, RMA, audits, etc.), and driving product hardware certifications.


Exigences

Take ownership and accountability of all aspects of quality management, e.g., quality strategy, roadmap, and execution, primarily in the context of IoT asset tracking product suite.

Be a key role in the product and solution development lifecycles by defining quality strategy, standards, and associated processes covering key milestones in the hardware and software development:

Hardware - define the approval criteria and the test requirements focuses on the quality of the of desired product e.g., POC (Proof of Concept), EVT (Engineering Validation Testing), DVT (Design Validation Testing), PVT (Product Validation Testing), MP (Mass Production).

Software - define the approval criteria and the test requirements focuses on the quality of the desired product's firmware and solution's software.

Advise and collaborate with the procurement team to define quality requirements & processes in RFI, RFQ, RFP, and supply/service agreements.

Maintain and communicate quality roadmap aligned with the products roadmap.
Drive quality activities closely with R&D, product, operations, supply chain, and logistics teams.
Lead tasks linked to product certifications which are mandatory to launch products in target geographies.

Take full ownership to execute quality activities and processes during the product development, commercial launch, mass production, field issues/RMA, product change management, etc.

Plan, execute and follow up on internal and external audits and drive closure of findings to ensure quality processes are respected.

Drive meetings (internal and external) on quality aspects with a clear agenda and close follow-up of actions within cross-departments, cross-functions, and divisions.

Manage periodic, precise and streamlined communication and reporting on quality roadmap.

Avantages
Several years of rich experience in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry in a quality management function. Experience in working with leading manufacturers (CM/OEM) in Asia/Latin America.
Engineering background, in-depth knowledge of electronic device manufacturing processes and associated quality methodology. Certifications in quality management/methodologies are a strong plus.
Deep understanding and experience in hardware product certifications (e.g., FCC, CE, IC/ ISED, ISO, PTCRB, BT SIG, UL, etc.).
Experience with audits and certifications e.g., ISO, SOC2, etc.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to synthesize and formulate complex data/information in a precise manner to communicate effectively.

Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams (R&D, Operations, Products, Supply Chain, Finance), contract manufacturers (in Asia and Latin America), suppliers, and senior management on quality topics.

Outstanding team player, ability to work smoothly with internal and external teams spread across the globe.
Right mindset to understand the business, achieve the goals and adherence to deadlines. Capable of dealing with pressure and adversity.
Flexible, rigorous, analytical, methodical, systematic, proactive, and autonomous. Able to voice his/her opinion.
Excellent command of English (verbal and written, native level). Knowledge of French is highly desirable.
Ability to travel regionally (within Europe) or internationally (Asia and USA), 10-20% mobility.
