Job Summary:
As a Relationship Manager at WeFi International AG, you will drive the implementation and ongoing program management of WeFi's innovative channel finance solutions for our Japanese clients.
You will work with the broader team including Capital Markets, Legal, Treasury, Finance and IT in the development of the particular client program and its day-to-day operations.
Being a team player is key, who enjoys being hands-on in a fast-paced and fun environment. You will report to the Switzerland based VP Customer Care EMEA & APAC.Native Japanese is a hard requirement for this position, non-Japanese speaking applicants will not be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the start and operations of Japan financing portfolios
- Actively participate and often lead the communication with portfolio resellers, vendors and funders (travel required) for new and existing programs
- Contribute to the evaluation and execution of new transactions within the portfolio
- Implement and oversee a robust operational process for all program aspects fundings, repayments, disputes, late payments, credit limit increases, etc.
- Have lead responsibility for compliance and credit reviews of new and existing program portfolios, which assesses financial performance, leverage, key risk factors, repayment sources, cash flows, management, and risk ratings
- Remain current on policy, procedures, and compliance guidelines and incorporate them in the daily work of your team and your role
- Complete periodic professional development training as scheduled
- Capacity: by agreement, part time is available for this position
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in economics, finance or other relevant field
- Strong knowledge of Channel Finance, Supply Chain Finance and international markets
- 3+ years credit analysis and underwriting experience
- 3+ years of Programs Management experience
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and operational excellence in a high paste environment
- Languages (native Japanese, fluency in English is a must)
- Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills
