Job Description:

Perform monthly and yearend trade accounting closing tasks
Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Monthly reviews of balance sheet and PnL trade related accounts
Ensure proper and timely resolution of findings
Daily liaison with front office to understand paper and physical trades and ensure accurate P&L reporting
Provide meaningful analysis to the various stakeholders to improve decision making
Front office's Key point of contact to resolve queries and adhoc analysis
Support continuous improvements on systems and processes
Ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported in accordance with policies and controls
Ensure tasks are done with an impeccable level of accuracy and in a timely manner
Comply with confidentiality and security policies of accounting data
Support external and internal audits of our financial statements and partnership activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent with a strong focus in accounting
24 years of relevant experience, ideally within the commodity trading industry
Knowledge of ERP systems and high literacy in Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French
