A family with a 7-year-old daughter living in Founex is looking for a professional and flexible Nanny-Governess with several years of experience, with high standards and who can work quickly, quietly and discreetly.


Working conditions:
Long-term contract. Preference for live-in (the family provides a luxury independent accommodation), but live-out is also possible.


Start date:
September 2023. The interviews will start at the end of August.


Languages required:
Native or fluent in English with a preference and also French.


Hours: 42 hours a week on average. All weekdays, typically 2 to 3 hours in the morning, and 3 to 5 hours in the afternoon (depending on the school schedule). Occasional evenings and very rarely weekends. Flexibility about overtime is important, but both parties need to be flexible and provide notice.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare breakfast and a (healthy) lunchbox for our daughter in the morning, as well as prepare her school material
  • Driving the girl to school in the morning (15minute drive to go there).
  • Picking her up from school (around 3:30 PM or 5:30 PM, depending on the day and classes).
  • Taking care of the girl and doing fun and educative activities with her in the afternoon and/or monitoring her school work in French and/or English.
  • Driving to friends' birthday parties and after school activities, etc.
  • Help with light house chores for the child's room and the independent nanny's studio (the family has a dedicated house cleaner for the rest of the house).

Requirements:


  • EU-Swiss Passport or Swiss Permit
  • Excellent references and experience working with children of this age
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to be strict and impose discipline whenever needed.
  • Ability to travel with the family on holidays, with notice.
  • Native English or native French
  • Clean driving licence (the family provides a dedicated car for the nanny).
  • Nonsmoking.

Benefits:


Salary offer CHF 6'000 - 6'500 gross per month as a function of experience (35 CHF + gross per hour).
