We are looking for a scientist in QC microbiology (M/F/d) at the Visp, Switzerland location.

The QC Microbiology deals with a wide range of microbiology analyzes and is responsible for the entire microbiology on the part of Lonza, in Visp, from analysis to monitoring tasks.

For our fast-growing team, we are looking for an additional scientist (M/F/d) to take on various tasks within project support.

Key Responsibilities:

Support for various projects at the Visp site within QC Microbiology in the area of project support
Collection, investigation and evaluation of verification data and vulnerabilities as well as implementation and monitoring of corrective measures
Participation in the creation and release of technical documentation
Method development and verification (no direct laboratory work). Creation of verification plans and reports, as well as support of other departments with quality assurance tasks
Carry out cGMP investigations in the event of deviations in the assigned area of responsibility and support process improvements within the QC microbiology
Readiness for oncall service every 4 months (operations are carried out from home)

Key Requirements:

Completed studies in the natural sciences (MSc/PhD) in the direction of microbiology / biology or a comparable qualification
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry microbiology an advantage
GMP experience an advantage
You enjoy facing challenges in a dynamic young team
You have very good knowledge of German and English
