Global Graphics Manager (M/F/d) in Part-time (50%) - 1 year contract (until March 2025)

PURPOSE


Global Brand Implementation and Artwork management services for Bayer Consumer Health that sustain the Design & Packaging processes, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal requirements.

Coordination of the creation and approval of MAW file for NPD and re designs while managing graphics operations and KPIs of allocated pkg.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as project manager between global cross functional teams, design artwork agencies and production sites in projects assigned for artwork management
  • Deliver expertise and consultancy to the Global Category Business Unit and the Design organization for Brand redesigns and Master Artwork Development
  • Steer the graphic design process by offering recommendations on technical aspects for final print packaging
  • Offer innovative graphic solutions and printing technologies to our internal stakeholders for consideration to strengthen brand presence on shelf
  • Identify, assess, and communicate graphics related risks associated with project timelines throughout the project and execute new projects with an acceptable Right the First Time rate for tasks / deliverable
  • Manage the preparation and submission of proposed labeling through the Change Control Process for review and approval
  • Oversee and coordinate the creation of ready to print artwork in compliance with approved Change Control documentation and packaging specifications
  • Effectively ensure print ability and execution of final printed packaging by managing pre press procedures, including technical review and approval of printing films, attendance at initial press runs and issuance of color standards for production consistency
  • Align and implement sustainability objectives with respect to artwork management
  • Continuously report and monitor on key KPIs for the allocated sites Continuously identify and highlight process improvements and assist in the updating of graphics process specific SOP's and procedures. Effectively manage International communication with internal and external business partners.
  • Have a digital mindset to drive artwork operations through digital implementation: Artwork Management system, PLM System, Analytics, RPA

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelors degree (design, graphic communications or print technologies) or comparable experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in artwork management of OTC/Pharmaceutical products, packaging design or print production.
  • Team player with project management and organizational skills and a positive, proactive and flexible attitude in a fastpaced environment with consistent attention to detail and good judgment
  • Comprehensive understanding of artwork workflow and processes
  • Understanding of various artwork / graphic creation methodology
  • Understanding of printing technology and processes
  • Good interpersonal skills and high degree of customer focus
  • Proactive approach, with good planning, communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English. German, French or Spanish in addition are an asset
