exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Credit Risk Insurance Team
About the role
This
highly visible role within the Credit Risk Insurance Team will report to the Head of Credit Risk and be located in London or Zurich.
You will
lead the credit risk assessment of structured reinsurance transactions for EMEA and spearhead key projects to
ensure and improve risk capture and accumulations firm-wide.
Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Assess complex Insurance/Reinsurance transactions with embedded credit risk
- Ensure appropriate capture and measurement of credit risk and it's reflection in costing, capital and steering tools
- Manage a discrete (re)/insurance portfolio through comprehensive and timely credit analysis and active monitoring
- Develop, maintain and improve risk control frameworks related to financial credit risk in close collaboration within cross functional teams
- Contribute to senior management reporting
About the team
Our Credit Risk Management team is responsible for credit risk associated with a portfolio of insurance companies.
We form an important part of Solvency & Financial Risk Management with a global presence in Zurich, London, Bangalore and New York.
About you
As this is a
high-profile role, we are looking for an
experienced self-starter with strong
analytical and problem-solving skills who would be able to make conceptual connections across Swiss Re.
You have:
- Minimum of
10 years of experience in creditrelated function (preferred). - Experience in structured
credit, insurance sector and/or regulatory capital management: - Strong academic qualifications. CFA or FRM a plus.
- Proven track record demonstrating effective messaging and strong presentational skills.
- Ability to
prioritise workload in a fastpaced/deadlinedriven environment with superlative
organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask. - Advanced
Excel knowledge. Facility in manipulating large amounts of data accurately and under time pressure for reporting and analytical purposes.

- Proficiency in Powerpoint
