Position Summary:


As a Product Manager (PM) you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of marketing and educational programs in the assigned therapeutic field.

Furthermore, you will actively drive the development and execution of brand, disease and launch plans as part of the cross-functional teams.

The PM develops the brand strategy in the assigned business area and generates all necessary insights to understand current and anticipate future market dynamics resulting in successful planning and execution through the lifecycle.

You also will be responsible to ensure the accurate development of commercial forecasts. In addition, she/he builds and maintains close relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and KOLs in the Swiss market. Therefore, you will be working partially in the field directly interacting with customers.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Product management

  • Drive the development of integrated, crossfunctional disease/brand/launch plans through close liaison with other team functions such as sales, medical affairs, market access, and regulatory.
  • Develop and execute innovative and impactful promotional concepts and nonbranded concepts.
  • Develop and implement marketing materials and ensures timely provision of materials in accordance with Swiss regulations (e.g. Swissmedic, Pharmakodex, SOPs).
  • Ensure efficient use of resources for content communication by exploring new ways of doing business (e.g. digital initiatives).
  • Develop and coexecute projects and campaigns that increase the quantity and quality of customer interactions by field teams.
  • Coresponsible for maximizing the sales performance by closely liaising with sales functions for the development of commercial strategies, projects, and materials.
  • Responsible to initiate market intelligence, to analyse and extensive market research and incorporate the findings into the brand planning process.
  • Ensure to stay up ahead of competition for the allocated brands/indications.
  • Ensure effective rollout of marketing campaigns/tools to the KAMs through briefing meetings & training sessions and double visits in the field.
  • Proactively support the development of commercial forecasting scenarios.
  • Proactively support adequate demand planning.
  • Responsible for marketing DPE (direct product expenses) spending in allocated products/indications.

Skills / Knowledge Required:


  • Life science, medical and/or Business Administration degree required.
  • Ideally at least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in Product Management, Sales or Medical positions.
  • Experience in the field of oncology/haematology and in key account management is a plus.
  • Must be selfmotivated and an independent selfstarter with the ability to think strategically, drive performance, foster relationships and build alignment.
  • Strong communications skills to deliver effective and influential presentations to external and internal customers.
  • High scientific profile with the ability to simplify new and complex clinical data into sound and meaningful messages.
  • Strong project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize.
  • Ability to work in a crossfunctional environment and establish positive working relationships within disease or project team.
  • Highly energetic, selfreliant, able to successfully drive performance and deliver results with various parties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Fluency in English, oral and written communications. German and French are a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen and open minded.
