Research Associate - Cancer Cell Targeted Therapy 5346
Our client is a pioneer in Drug Discovery and Development and one of the frontrunners in Personalised Healthcare.

As the world's largest R&D spender in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics domain, they work in a vast number of drug discovery & therapeutic areas and are highly recognized internationally.

The are looking for a
Research Associate - Cancer Cell Targeted Therapy, for a
12 x month contract that could be extended.

Your minimum of 2 years experience within industry in the field of
Oncology or Immuno-oncology is essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

Development of pharmacodynamic (PD) assays that will provide robust and accurate measurements of drug effects in cell lines and in samples of mouse models.
Implementation of biomarker assays to demonstrate target engagement and confirm mechanism of action (MOA).
Designing and execution of experimental work and performing data analysis.
Participating in scientific discussions and presenting your work in team meetings.
Supporting team members in optimizing and maintaining lab organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required:

MSc degree in biology, or a related scientific field
(no PHD's will be considered):
At least 2 or more years of experience in a research laboratory, in an academia and/or industry environment
Minimum of 2 or more years of experience with
cancer cell culture and
drug screening:
Experience in molecular and cell biology techniques including
flow cytometry, western blotting,
immunostaining and imaging:
Experience with **CRISPR and RNAi methods
