Our Internship Program is open to students who want to gain practical experience in one of the various career fields at the heart of the financial services industry.

Over the course of this in-depth, comprehensive program you make valuable contributions to the bank's work, develop skills, expand your knowledge and grow in confidence.

You participate in exclusive events, shadowing days, real-world business challenges and demanding tasks to extend your experience and create valuable networks in the bank and the wider sector.

By the end of the program you gain a rich, varied insight into our work at Credit Suisse and the industry in general.

Start date:
Up on agreement in 2023

Duration: 4-6 months

Academic requirements:
Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences

Your field of responsibility

A great opportunity to join our Institutional Fixed Income Sales team to learn the distribution of all fixed income products, to promote suitable investment opportunities and capital market transactions.

In this role you will contribute to the success of the team by being involved in advertising our platform and distributing our Global Credit and Emerging Markets Products to clients while supporting the needs of our international Trading Desks.

You will promote suitable investment ideas according to the positioning of our Trading Desk and the primary mandates managed by our Syndicate.

Furthermore, you will partner with other stakeholders such as Research, Operations, Onboarding, other sales teams, etc to ensure an overall satisfying service to our clients.

Your future colleagues

Our Fixed Income Sales Team in Zurich is responsible for the coverage of Swiss based Institutional clients in foreign currency Bonds and Credit Default Swaps.

Clients include Fund Managers, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, External Banks, Family Offices.

We make the link between our global Investment Bank franchise and our clients and facilitate the business with our Wealth Management.

You have:

Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor's degree or are currently enrolled on a master's program
A strong academic record and a keen interest in financial markets
A desire to seek challenges and are a supportive, adaptable team member who can build strong relationships
An ability to take responsibility for your actions, and seek new challenges
Effective communication skills, loyalty and are always willing to help
Fluent German and a solid working knowledge of English
A highly motivated, flexible cando attitude and are a team player
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven reliability
