Job Description:

You are disciplinary responsible for a team of 5 experienced development engineers in the field of mechanics. Your team members have the technical responsibility for the mechanical development of an intelligent, electromechanical medical product with a high degree of innovation, which must be economically producible in high quantities and must have a high reliability during its life cycle.
In addition to providing disciplinary leadership to the team, you will work on projects yourself either as a technical project leader or as a development engineer.
You are a member of the management team of the development department and work in a strong network with the heads of the software development and electronics departments.
You support your employees in all aspects of their work and ensure that the work environment (tools, training, working conditions, workload, collaboration) allows optimal and motivating work.
You will actively cooperate with your counterpart in the Gerresheimer organization in Germany with the aim of implementing a working methodology that is as uniform as possible and thus also promoting the exchange of resources across locations.

Qualifications:

Engineer FH/ETH in mechanical engineering, microtechnology or similar fields
More than 10 years of experience in development of micromechanical assemblies in plastics including specification and verification
Proven success in the development of products ideally in medical technology
High quality and cost awareness
Independent, solutionoriented, communicative team player with initiative
Very good oral and written language skills in German and English
You feel comfortable in an organization with flat hierarchies, where technical and management careers are equally encouraged.
You want to contribute to the company's success with enthusiasm, creativity and experience.
