Present in Switzerland since 1997 in Geneva, Talan Switzerland now has nearly 150 employees.

Initially focuse in the financial sector, Talan has developed in recent years in the watchmaking, insurance, media and services sectors and recently opened an office in Lausanne.

Today, we would like to strengthen our teams with a Release Manager:

Plan release windows and cycles across the product area considering the global release calendar
Schedule, lead and facilitate a weekly release management meeting
Schedule, manage and coordinate releases across all products within the product area across different teams and initiatives.
Manage and mitigate risks related to changes and releases, and resolve underlaying issues
In collaboration with the portfolio management teams, build and keep up to date a release calendar for the different initiatives to have a centralized view of all releases
Maintain a change/release repository and manage key information such as build and release processes, dependencies, and distribution lists
Setup effective dashboards to track and monitor all changes/releases
In collaboration with the portfolio management teams, maintain a consolidated view of environments usage containing key milestones, Initiatives, testing phases and Golives
Ensure that key change/release information such as environment availability and major change/release is shared with all stakeholders
Work with the product teams to identify and plan patching/upgrades/changes related to all thirdparty components used within the product area
Review changes and Release readiness and challenge major changes
B.Sc. or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
5+ years' experience as a Change and Release Manager in an international environment
Experience as a Program or Project Manager is an asset
Proven experience in eCommerce projects is a plus
Good knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, code branching and versioning
Ability to communicate with technical and business teams (all levels)
Strong interpersonal, and communication skills and high attention
Ability to work in a complex, fastpaced, distributed environment with high expectations
Fluent English required, other languages are a plus (e.g., French, German, Chinese)
