Our client, an international company specialized in FMCG industry, is opening a new position in Switzerland. They are looking for a R&D Food - Bakery Technologist (F/M). The Research and Development Associate conducts research and product development activities, bringing valuable skills and knowledge to the Baking Business for new product ideas and concepts.

  • Plan and design new product development in bakery operations
  • Initiate product and processing concepts from idea to final production start-up
  • Set up a baking laboratory where required, select the equipment, and manage the project
  • Put ideas and concepts into practice in product reality
  • Evaluate and contribute to key product improvement based on business objectives
  • Describe or demonstrate research results or experimental protocols to colleagues
  • Write and record the necessary documentation (report/memo) for the production process

Profile:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, chemistry, biology, or a similar field
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the same field
  • You possess knowledge about the structural/functional properties of different food ingredients
  • You thrive working under pressure, exploring unconventional scientific ideas and managing evolving projects
  • You are dedicated and enjoy working in an international environment
  • You are open to travel
  • You are fluent in English, and knowledge of any other Swiss language is advantageous
