Acubum's software supports all core processes of insurers from creating new insurance products, over quotation and contracting to claims processing and reinsurance.

As such, Adcubum's Syrius platform is the backbone of insurance companies.

Counting ten of Switzerland's biggest health insurers among our customers, we are clearly leading the Swiss health core insurance software space.

Moreover, we have launched development of a P&C product in the German market together with a top-tier German client.

The Adcubum group is backed by renown venture capital fund TA Associates. With their investment in December 2021, Adcubum also acquired German P&C core insurance start-up Tech11. The Acubum group counts nearly 500 employees in Switzerland, Germany, Croatia, and Africa.

Our product development is structured into three units: "Health" and "Property and Casualty" for our main product lines, plus "Platform" for our platform aligned teams.

Each unit counts around 80 staff members. Adcubum's product platform is 20+ years in the making, very comprehensive and stable.

It is based on common enterprise grade technology, such as Oracle SQL and Java EE, with a model driven development approach.

Over the last years, Adcubum has worked on branching out of its home market "Swiss health insurance" to the "property and casualty" market in Germany.

To that end, we are developing a new core insurance system together with tier one pilot customer, augmenting our product platform both functionally and technically.

We have already conducted two smaller rollouts and are expecting several more until 2026. Our development and implementation project remains complex with an ambitious timeline.

Deine Aufgaben:

As our interim head of product unit "Platform" you will work on mastering the above challenge.

You will quickly assess the situation, propose an implementation plan and see its execution through, with the ultimate goal to successfully deliver product and project.

Unsere Anforderungen:

To fulfil this role, we expect you to have a technical background, with a degree in computer science or similar.

You have experience in managing sizable engineering organisations with delivery responsibility, with a sound understanding of software engineering, architectures and organisations.

You are decisive and have a track record including similar turn-around situations. You are sure-footed in larger B2B projects including their political dimensions.

You have a sharp mind, boundless curiosity, determination, and a good way to interact with people. You are a savvy communicator, a modern leader, and an evangelist.

You are fluent in English and willing to travel to our sites in Switzerland, Germany and Croatia as necessary.

Wir bieten:

Work environment
In this role you will be part of Adcubum's leadership team. You will report directly into the CTO and will be in regular contact with all executive board members.

Within the CTOs staff, you will work with Heads of Health and Platform Unit, the Product Managers, Customer Care and the Head of Agile.

Inside the project you will collaborate with the program and project management both, on our and the customer's side. Your team will consist of ca. 80 engineers in Croatia, Germany, and Switzerland.
