Overview
We are looking for a Finance Manager to cover a 6 month contract to manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team of a Technology company based in Bern

Main responsibilities

Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable
Handling of VAT in Switzerland as well as VAT in Germany in cooperation with clients tax office.
Assist in the preparation of timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP (accruals, reconciliations, etc.).
Ensure correct intercompany transactions. Ongoing optimization of financial processes, especially in the ERP system.
Various general ledger activities. Support with other administrative and organizational tasks.

Your skills:

Basic commercial education with a specialized further education in finance and accounting.
Experience of working within a medium to large sized international organization, in a matrix environment, in a comparable function.
Very good knowledge of MS Office and MS Dynamics Navision
Excellent communication skills and analytical skills.
Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and pressured work environment.
A reliable, accurate and thoughtful way of working in a team.

Language

Business fluency in German and English.
