A lovely American-British family living in Geneva, Champel is looking for a live-out Nanny-House Keeper to start mid-August or September.

The family lives in a large house with a nice garden, close to an excellent park (parc Bertrand). Both parents work, one in an office and one from home.


Children's age:
A girl will be 2 years old in September and a boy 4 years old in October.


Start date:
Mid of August or 1st of September


Language required:
French (native with preference) and English. The parents only speak English and would like a nanny who can speak French with the children.


Schedule:
Monday to Friday, except Wednesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Flexibility to help with occasional extra babysitting and availability to travel with the family.


Main responsibilities:


  • The boy goes to school every day from 8:15 to 4:00 pm and the nanny will need to do drop off and pick up.
  • Take care of the little girl all day. The parents are considering sending her to daycare during the mornings
  • Tyding the house during mornings
  • Preparing lunch for the little girl and dinner for both children mostly
  • Take the children to outdoor activities.

Requirements:


  • EU/Swiss Passport or Swiss Permit
  • Experience of at least four years working with private families in the same role
  • Letters of recommendation or job certificates
  • Cooking abilities, able to prepare healthy meals
  • Fluent in French and English (French native with preference)
  • Open to the idea of travelling with us on trips to the UK, US and Spain. This is not a requirement and would be arranged on an adhoc basis.
  • Pet Friendly, the family has a Labrador
  • A driver is not required but would be a plus
